World of White Women Trade Into Slavery

Slavery is a word well understood, but in the minds of most people, it is associated with the black slave trade from Africa to America across the Atlantic. Many people are not aware that a parallel form of slavery existed in the kidnapping of white men and women by North Africans and Arabs. The purpose of these captures was slavery. Another aspect of this slavery was white women (preferably virgins) to populate the harems of the Arab Sheikhs and Beys. The Arabs and the Moors were the foremost exponents of this trade as they had a penchant for fair and golden-haired white girls. This trade lasted much longer than the black slave trade and overshot it by hundreds of years.

The black trade was stopped by an act of legislation. This did not happen in the case of the white slave trade which ended only after the Arabs and Moors were militarily crushed by the European powers.

White Slave Trade: Nuts and Bolts

The onset of the white slave trade began when the Muslim arms conquered almost the entire North Africa and Spain. It was at its zenith when the Mediterranean Sea almost became a Muslim controlled lake with the Ottoman Empire at its zenith. Even after the defeat of the Muslims, the slave trade was taken over by Muslim pirates called the Corsairs.

The Corsairs were a daredevil lot and scoured the entire Mediterranean Sea. They also raided the coastal villages of Europe and kidnapped white girls. These girls have spirited away to the harems of the Arabs and sold at auctions where they earned a high price for the kidnapper.

White men were also kidnapped for ransom and to work as slaves. There are reports that King Richard the lionheart was also kidnapped and released when a large ransom was paid for him. As far as the kidnapping of girls from the European coastal villages is concerned, the effect was one of fear and many villages shifted deeper away from the coast, to escape from the marauding Muslim pirates.

later the Muslim pirates started a preference for Slav girls who were fair and had golden hair. Raiding parties roamed the Baltic and the Aegean Sea for these girls.

The Magnitude of White Slavery

The magnitude of slavery can only be estimated as no exact figures are available. Generally, it is estimated that the figure would be over a million. The Corsairs were the main exponents of this white slave trade and they also extracted a levy from the ships that sailed the Mediterranean Sea. In the period after 1609 in a span of a decade, almost 400 British ships were captured and the men made slaves and released only after a ransom was paid. Other who could not pay languished in Arab farms as workers and slaves till death.

Later Britain paid a tribute and their ships were spared. But nations and settlements close to the sea in SE Europe and the Slav areas bore the brunt of this slavery.

Breaking the Power of Kidnappers

A fact that has now emerged is the massive kidnapping and abduction of white girls as slaves for the harems of the Arabs. This menace lasted for hundreds of years and it continued until the 19th century. In 1814 the European powers signed a convention to outlaw the attacks of the Berbers and the Ottoman Turks.

The Christian nations now asserted and the rising White power inflicted heavy defeats on the Corsairs and the Turks. This rising European power led to the demise of the white slave trade. A point worth noting is that the slave trade in white women only stopped after the defeat of the Turks and Muslims and not by any act or edict.

End of White Slavery

The white slave trade is well documented by hundreds of books and many have been written after extensive research. There is thus not an iota of doubt that the trade of white particularly white women was a fact of history. Yet not much is talked about this slave trade as the general perception is that the slave trade concerned mostly the black man. However, there is a subtle difference which must be noted. The difference is that the white slave trade of white virgins was basically to populate the harems, where many white women lived a comfortable though secluded lives.

They lived in relative comfort unlike the black man who was chained and made to do hard labor and the black woman slept with the white man without any rewards or recognition and her children were also considered black.

The recent mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso are yet another sign of our imploding society in America. Regardless of what the Left likes to trumpet, it's not about the guns. It's also not about 'white supremacy' either. Both are merely symptoms of a nation entering into its final years of life. That is the elephant in the kitchen.

America long ago began taking God out of society. That would be the God who in fact, provides the sovereignty under which we inhabit His earth. It's worth noting that if man offered our sovereign, man could take it away, which is what is happening in our country right now.

We've removed God from public places, banned Him from our schools and allow elected officials to pledge their loyalty to our nation on books other than His Bible. Then we wonder why we don't enjoy the blessings on America we once did. After the war to remove God from sight, we then began killing his newborn children by the thousands and thousands in the name of 'rights' and publicly vilify anyone who disagrees.

We awaken each day in a society where morals no longer exist, where marriage, once the laboratory of decency, is being stamped 'outdated' and tossed in the trash heap of history. Our children are charges of the state from cradle to college graduation when they owe student loans they can never pay. We go to bed, sleepless, wondering why people shoot other people? We should be astonished not by the shooters but by the people who are surprised that shootings happen.

Courts are ordering parents to chemically castrate eight-year-olds who think they are the wrong sex; schools are disciplining students for not using the proper 'pronouns' when addressing other students and males who can't compete with other males in sports can claim they are women and go home with the gold.

As a society, we can't keep planting thorns and expect roses to bloom. We allow immigration, both legal and illegal, to dilute the values that made our nation strong. We are inundating our country with people, many through no fault of their own, have no idea now to live or contribute to a peaceful and productive society. In the Left's quest for so-called 'equality' they are turning our culture and our nation into the very countries our new immigrants have fled.

We have a culture where we are not to discriminate against anyone or anything, except white people and white males in particular. Women are martyrs; men are guilty, never mind until proven so, and blacks are 'owed' reparations and Spanish deserve their lands back. Women demonize masculinity while many others are offended by a fart in the wind. And we wonder why people are going bonkers and shooting people.

A wise man once said 'you reap what you sow' and our reaping is growing uglier by the day. Young men who spend hours upon hours playing violent video games, never talking to a real person, begin to believe their solitary lives are real.

All but a handful in America are guilty. The duped and the do-gooders who push for a Marxist Utopia are leading the charge.

What about the silent majority you ask? What about them? They mean nothing precisely because they say and do nothing. The elephant in the kitchen, that behemoth we won't talk about is getting bigger and bigger. The elephant of destroyed families, political correctness, a rainbow of genders and open borders coupled with the Left's move to tribalism is nearly indestructible at this point.

Just as we're not surprised by the sun coming up in the morning, we shouldn't be surprised by the shootings, looting, and mayhem of the new Third World America.

An Essay on Environmental Terrorism

All animals, and all species of life, deserve the right-of-life and to live. But in saying that, species, even us, can depend on others as food. The below must be read bearing this in mind.

For the human species to live in harmony with other species, and as the caretaker-species of this planet, we will inevitably and eventually draw up an internationally recognized charter-of-rights for sentient and non-sentient life. To begin with, such a charter would be adopted country by country. But eventually all nations will accept it.

This charter would have for some species the same rights that humans grant each other. Some countries of Earth already have laws based on such rights in place. Most countries have at least anti-cruelty laws. But the laws that specifically enable all life to survive in harmony, free from environmental terrorism, are not yet drawn up.

People violating those yet-to-be-introduced laws in the future will likely be treated accordingly, as we might expect. But right now such laws are culturally based and varied. For example, elephant poachers in Africa can get an extreme death-in-the-field sentence by environmental law enforcers. By contrast, international law is different. Such laws need to be globally streamlined. And, by rational thinking, it is foreseeable that such environmental laws might one day be expected to take into consideration the activities of chemical companies, weapons manufacturers, environmental polluters, loggers and a lot more. Such is foreseeable. 
How far these laws reach will depend on the severity of the situation, and how people act now. But it is already severe. 
A future exists, whereby hunters, and some individuals, will be labeled as environmental terrorists. Their actions speak loudly of what they are doing. They will fit the label. But that label would really be for a representative panel of the United Nations, or some other body, to decide. Many hunters might disagree, but an act of terror is not defined as being perpetrated solely upon the human species. And the definition of mass murder does not have to be restrained only to people. The abnormal unholy destructive urge that hunters and some individuals display by killing other species will one day be recognized for what it truly is.

And such a thinking panel or body as above, which is given charge to salvage this planet's environment, will also introduce retroactive laws. This is probably unavoidable. We already have the example of retroactive laws in place for sex predators.

The ungodly urge to destroy other life is an urge that must be curtailed, no matter the victim's age, gender, race or species. In most countries the unnatural act of buggery, sex slavery and a lot more, is already against the law, regardless of species. So is cruelty. Naming interspecies murder for what it is, is simply an extension of existing thought and law.

It is further seeable, that such retroactive laws could strip those who have inherited wealth, made from harming other species. It is doubted that this will be soon, but it will happen one day.

If our world is damaged to such a critical degree by past unlabeled environmental-criminals, it might be that their heirs are used to extract the planet out of the trap we are sliding into.

For example, who will pay the 350 billion dollars needed to clean up the Pacific Ocean of plastic? The cost has to be paid for in part at least, by those who profited from the ocean's destruction. There has to be the general public, but also, it has to be the companies and their officers who profited by it. Likely, benefiting heirs will be included.

Probably, in the future it will be the heirs of those profiting from environmental destruction who are made to pay.

Now, what is going to happen here in the future is especially interesting. Will anti-environmental-terrorism laws allow enforcement agencies to pursue environmental criminals unimpeded across international boundaries? Most likely those laws will, one day. Some forward thinking countries already have cross-border laws in place, which will be invoked. They can already do this, regardless of other nations objecting. Others will follow suit.

And for those who object to the above, after a little investigation, they will undoubtedly be known for who they are.

All this could be forty years away, but it is definitely foreseeable. Environmental terrorism has to be dealt with.

These plants also provide medicine, timber and recreation. Birds travel long distances and assist in germination. Birds play a vital role in keeping the balance of nature in the world. Birds play other roles within ecosystems as well. They are a natural way to control pests in gardens, on farms, and other places.

Loss of habitat for wild birds continues unabated and natural nesting sites and food resources continue to dwindle. To assist in stopping the decline, the most significant way we can contribute as a people is to restore natural habitat in our own backyard. We need to take an active and responsible role in managing our bird habitat. If you manage any kind of property, you are managing habitat for wildlife.

Some Reasons for this decline are loss of habitat, environmental degradation, seasonal changes, change in weather, global climate change, inadequate forage, and so on. Wild birds have a comparatively high metabolism rate that needs food on an everyday and consistent basis. Several birds die throughout the winter, throughout droughts, cold spells, prolonged rains, and other conditions that cut back the provision of forage resulting in stress, weakness, reduced resistance to illness and parasites, and starvation. The Lost

“And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?... Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost… For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.” 

(Luke 15:3-7; 8-9; 24)

Today’s Morsel:  If you notice Luke’s writings about the parable of the lost, he listed three things that Jesus said were lost.  The sheep, the coin, and the prodigal son.  If you will notice, when you read the entire parable, only two things were sought after, they were the sheep and the coin.  The son was not sought after. He had to come to his senses and go home by himself. Lost sheep are the ones that we go after.  We don’t chase prodigals, they must come to themselves.  They know what is in the father’s house because they have been there, they have tasted and seen.  As Jesus told His disciples, “Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:5-8)  Stop chasing prodigals.  Pray for them and let them come to themselves.  You go to the lost sheep. 

Sing: One night while on life's raging sea it looked as if I would suffer defeat.  As the blackness of night closed off the light my heart sank with fear.  My desperate cry rang out with fright; all I could see was no hope in sight. With faith all but gone I met the one who came looking for me.

The God Who Speaks

Hebrews 1:1-4

Idols cannot talk (Psalms 115:4-7), but we follow One who does speak. The Lord communicated to saints of both the Old and New Testaments in a variety of ways. He spoke in an audible voice to affirm His Son (Matthew 3:17) and gave direction to Paul on the Damascus road (Acts 9:6). He used dreams to reveal future events (Genesis 37:5-11), and a vision to communicate with Peter (Acts 10:9-16). He sent angels to proclaim His will (Luke 1:26-37), and orchestrated events to communicate His message (2 Kings 5:6-15).

The Lord still speaks today. The written Word of God is our primary source for hearing from Him. Through the ministry of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we receive understanding of scriptural truths and their application to daily living. At other times, the Spirit of God communicates directly with us, strongly impressing our spirit with His message. When this happens, we must carefully verify that what we have heard is correct. If it does not match Scripture, then God did not say it. In addition, the Lord sometimes uses circumstances to confirm what He is already telling us in His Word.

Visions also require our caution. God chooses to communicate this way only rarely, usually preferring to speak by other means. Fleeces such as the one Gideon used (Judges 6:36-40) can be subject to human manipulation and might therefore prove to be unreliable. They are not the best way to hear from the Lord.

Our God has much to say. The question is, how well are we listening?

Often when we face trials, our first response is to find a way to change our circumstances. We try to plan or devise a quick, painless way through the difficulty. But God is our keeper.

He watches over us with great care, and His eyesight is not limited to the moment. He knows the way behind and before us. Nothing that comes our way is a surprise to the Lord.

Though there will be times when you may not understand His leading, go forward with Him. He only leads you along the paths that He has prepared for you. Before the battle of Jericho, God encouraged Joshua by saying, “Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

Amy Carmichael writes, “Thank God for the battle verses in the Bible. We go into the unknown every day of our lives and especially every Monday morning, for the week is sure to be a battlefield, outwardly, and inwardly in the unseen life of the spirit, which is often by far the sternest battlefield for souls. Either way, the Lord your God goes before you, He shall fight for you!”

As you begin your week, take comfort in the fact that God knows exactly what is up ahead, and He will be with you every step of the way. Whatever you face, He will provide the strength you need to emerge as a victor.

A Lesson From Gethsemane

Matthew 26:36-46

Sometimes following the path God sets for believers requires that we trek through a personal Gethsemane. In the Garden of that name, Jesus struggled, knowing His impending crucifixion meant separation from His Father. At no other time in the gospels do we see the Son of God more brokenhearted than in these last few hours of freedom before He is seized by the Pharisees’ men.

We, too, experience periods of intense turmoil and distress, and the Word of God can be a beacon at such dark times. Matthew’s illumination of the Lord at Gethsemane teaches us how to respond to sorrow so that our painful experiences are not wasted.

God does not squander hurt or brokenness; rather, if we willingly accept His ministrations, He utilizes our vulnerability to teach us faith-building principles. Jesus asked that the cup of suffering be removed. The metaphorical chalice was filled with the wrath of a holy God against sinful mankind. When Christ drank, He accepted all the wrongs of man—and the righteous fury of God—on Himself. As a result, He effectively severed His tie with the Father, who cannot tolerate or associate with sin. But in Gethsemane, the Son did not plead for release from the pain; instead, He prayed three times that the Father’s will be done.

As we follow Jesus’ example and release ourselves to God’s will, inner turmoil is calmed by a sense of peaceful contentment. External circumstances may be unchanged, but in our inward Gethsemane, we are hand in hand with a loving Father.

South Africa to face India in the Midlands International Polo Tournament

South Africa will face India in the main match in the first International Polo Tournament at the Lions River Polo Club in the KZN Midlands. The match will be preceded by three curtain raisers and is set to thrill all fans and spectators on 6th May.

"We are delighted to be hosting the Indian team and have been overwhelmed at the level of interest from the public in this event. Both teams will be at the 15-goal level and this balance in handicaps will ensure a very hard-fought and closely contested match." Said Mark Davies, President of the South African Polo Association.

The Indian side will be captained by the 5 goaler - Colonel Ravi Rathore, who has represented India in five successive World Cups. Gaurav Sahgal (4), Salim Azmi (3) and Siddhant Sharma (3) will play alongside Ravi Rathore for the Indian team.

"The Indian Army consists of an incredible 1.4 million soldiers and the 61 st Cavalry Regiment is one of the last fully mounted active fighting bodies in the world. Most Indian polo players learn their equestrian skills from this elite Regiment of which Col Rathore is Commandant" said Davies.

The programme for the day will start at 10 in the morning with a curtain raiser between youngsters which will be followed by a match between Ngunis & Ankoles. The teams from schools comprising of current and old boys will play at noon before the grand international event. 
The match between India and South Africa will start at 1330 hrs and will conclude at 1500 hrs and will be followed by a live band performance.

Thrilling and exhilarating international polo will be coming to the midlands area of Kwa-Zulu Natal on 6 May this year! The SA Polo Association has invited a 15-goal team from India to play against a South African team at the Lions River Polo Club in the inaugural action-packed Midlands International Polo on Sunday 6th May 2018. This date has been chosen to coincide with the enormously popular Hilton vs Michaelhouse schoolboys rugby clash which will be held the day before, Saturday 5th May, at Michaelhouse. This International promises to be a fun-filled and exciting day of entertainment. The day will kick off with a kids match between the Elands and Bushbuks at 10h00 which will showcase the younger generation who will be the future stars of South African Polo. This will be followed by a curtain raiser match between the Nguni and Ankole teams at 11h00 and then in keeping with the weekend's rivalry at 12h00 there will be a Hilton vs Michaelhouse curtain raiser polo match. The main match between South Africa and India will take place at 13h30 which will be followed by prize-giving. There will be a live band (Angus) playing for a couple of hours from the conclusion of prize-giving to end off a fantastic day of polo and fun.

Tickets are available in the form of pre-sold picnic sites or general access which can be purchased at the gates on the day. Details of these can be seen below. You are welcome to bring in your own food and drinks but there will be public caterers, coffee and public bars available on the day (listed below).
