Nas:His divine power has bestowed upon us everything useful for a godly life by our introduction to Him.... (2 Peter 1:3)

Can someone who is tech-stuttering aka blind to the introduction of smart electronic devices get the most out of the tools? Is it possible that someone who doesn't know a famous actor will ask for time to take pictures with him when he meets him? Of course not, because the requirements of knowing are not met.

The Apostle Peter advised the congregation to grow in their knowledge of God (v. 8). If people do not know God well and deeply, their Christian life will not be optimal. Why? Because the potential given by God is not used or just wasted. What potential? The potential to grow and be a blessing to anyone. The potential to have faith, virtue, knowledge, self-mastery, perseverance, and righteousness that in turn enables a person to love one's brethren and fellow human beings (vv. 5-7).

The point of reading and meditating on God's words is for us to know Him better. Knowing Him will make us love Him. In addition, by knowing God, we know ourselves better. Recognize the potential God has given us to live a noble life and glorify Him. Do not believe if our surroundings, our own experiences or consciences accuse us of being bad, weak, and useless. Instead, believe what God says about us. In Christ, we are newly created human beings, good, potential, and able to benefit (cf. Ef. 2:10). Live up to that potential! -PAD

So, whoever is in Christ, he is a new creation.

Who is God's Creator?

Who is God's Creator?

Reading:Genesis 1:1-31

A Year Reading:Genesis 7-9

Nas: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

One mother asked a lecturer at a theological school, "My son wants to know who created God. What should I answer to him?" The lecturer replied, "Just tell him that no one created God. He has always been there and always will be." "But he was only 6 years old. He would not understand such an answer, " the mother retorted. " Even when he was 60 years old, he still wouldn't understand that answer, but just tell him, because that's the truth," the lecturer replied.

There are various theories about the origin of the universe, but they are all conjectures. But the Bible tells us that there is one cause of all that exists. He is God, who has existed and reigned from eternity (Psalm 93:2). It was He who created the heavens, the earth and the entire universe. It was He who created time, made day and night, also made people in His image and likeness, and gave them the authority to rule over all creation.

God is omnipresent, always is and always will be. He has, is and will be. This truth is not only difficult for children to understand, but by people of all ages. But when we follow Him, we can even have intimate fellowship with Him, for He has revealed Himself, not only through His creation, but also through Jesus Christ, the Word who became flesh to save sinful creation.
