The Great St. Louis Bank Robbery (1959)

George Fowler (played by Steve McQueen) needs money to finish his college education. So he joins Gino (David Clarke) and agrees to act as a wheel man in the St. Louis Bank operation. Gino trusts George because he is the boyfriend of Gino's sister, Ann (Molly McCarthy). Ann suspects that her brother and boyfriend are trying to rob the Southwest Bank. She stands against it and actively tries to prevent them from doing so. Gino's partners, John and Willie, take Ann to a secret place to control or shut her up and eventually kill her in a fit of anger. John and Willie don't let Gino and George know about the matter. The four then begin their bank operation but the weed of crime bears only bitter fruit for all the main characters except Willie.

The Man Who Cheated Himself (1950)

A homicide police lieutenant, Lt. Ed Cullen (played by Lee J. Cobb), loves a rich married woman, Lois Frazer (played by Jane Wyatt). Lois dislikes her husband and decides to divorce him. But her husband plans to kill her. In a wildly melodramatic scene, she shoots her husband and kills him. Cullen witnesses the incident but he doesn't arrest the girl he loves. Instead he tries to help her get away with it. Cullen's younger cop brother (played by John Dall) begins to suspect the truth. Eventually Cullen destroys himself in the process of covering up his protection of Lois.

The Lost World (1925)

Professor Challenger discovers living prehistoric creatures in the jungles of South America. He returns to England and writes about what he experienced in South America. But everyone thinks that the professor has either gone mad or he is trying to get cheap popularity. He eventually becomes able to persuade his fellows to form an expedition to return to the South American jungle and find the place. A highly ambitious reporter Edward Malone, a renowned hunter Sir John Roxtom, Challenger's colleague Professor Summerlee and Paula White join Challenger and together they go into the jungle. They finally find the elevated plateau and encounter all kinds of remarkable plants, dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures.
