The Fun of Collecting Hidden Mickey Trading Pins

Hidden Mickey trading pins are fun to collect and trade. It is fun to try and find all the pins in a particular series.  They are part of Disney trading pins are just another way to have fun collecting and trading the multitude of pins Disney has available.

Hidden Mickey trading pins are fun to search for and collect.  Every year Disney comes out with different sets of hidden Mickey pins. These pins usually come out in sets of 5-6 and Disney usually releases about 50-60 of these pins every year. They come out in different categories, and could be Disney princesses, Disney villains, Disney birds, or Disney patriotic characters.  Sometimes the theme may not even by related to Disney.  A list is provided each year of the different categories of hidden Mickey pins so you have an idea of what to look for.  But what makes these pins so special? 

All of these pins have one thing in common. They all have a little tiny Mickey Mouse head on them.  The head is very small and can be in different colors, such as gold, silver, black, or brown.  And the head can be anywhere on the pin.  The fun of collecting them is to try and find the hidden Mickey pins from the list that come out every year.  Once you go into the theme parks you have to search for the particular ones you need by going up to cast members or other guests that are also trading them.  You have to know what the pins that have the hidden Mickey on them look like because the head design is very small.  Once you know what the pin looks like, the hunt is on to try and collect all the hidden Mickey pins in the category you are trying to find.
